About Us

The Notre Dame Lead Innovation Team (ND-LIT), formed in 2016, is a dedicated group of ND faculty, staff, and students working with local community organizations to prevent lead poisoning and address other environmental health issues in St. Joseph County and across the state of Indiana. 

ND-LIT provides free Lead Screening Kits to community members interested in learning more about the health of their home environment. In addition, the team conducts research on new and innovative technologies related to lead and environmental health and justice. 

We hope to leverage our partnerships to bring about  positive change through our projects.
